We recommend going directly to your brands website and checking with them directly. There is quite a bit of information out there and the people the actually make the pet food will have the best information. They know who the suppliers are for their foods and have or had testing done on the content of their foods.

If you decide to begin making your own food please research it thoroughly. There are many books written on the subject. It can be difficult to get the proper mix of vitamins and minerals. We have several recipes that we can photocopy for you if that helps. There are both basic diet and special needs diet recipes available. If you plan to stick with a diet for longer than two weeks we really encourage you to really examine the vitamin and mineral content in your specific diet. Not having this correct can ultimately cause more problems than good.
