Here is a recipe** that we have found works quite well. We also carry "Skunk off" which is a retail shampoo that can also do a good job at getting rid of that awful smell left by a skunk encounter!

1 quart 3% hydrogen peroxide

1/4 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

1 teaspoon liquid soap

Bathe with this mixture and follow with a tap water rinse.
