Melissa was born and raised in Kailua, HI. She moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State University in 1997. Melissa moved to Pullman in 2000 to pursue her zoology degree at Washington State University. Melissa joined the Animal Clinic team in 2001. Her hobbies include hiking with her dogs - Kainalu and Keahi, swimming, shopping, and hunting. In August 2002, Melissa completed all requirements for licenser as a veterinary technician. In July 2005, Melissa married Matthew Kuhrt. Congratulations!
