Niki is originally from Pocahontas, Arkansas. While in Arkansas, she worked as a kennel technician for three years and spent a year as a veterinary assistant before moving to the Palouse. She is currently a pre-veterinary student at the University of Idaho and would eventually like to become a veterinary technician. She lives with her three dogs; Raf a Shepherd mix, Jazmin a Chin-Pinn, and Nanook a Siberian Husky. She has spent time working with animals as a foster parent and in finding them new homes. Niki hopes to someday open a doggy daycare and further her understanding of dogs by working with Ceasar Milan.
