2006 June Pet of the Month Winner "Tonchy" Satterwhite

My name is Tonchy and I am a Shepherd Malamute Mix (25% Wolf).

My master David named me that because the name was given to him by a Cheyenne Indian. In respect to his wolf heritage, "Tonchy" is translated
from the Cheyenne language to mean "Friend of the Land".

My favorite treat is Chicken!

My age in dog years is 87 +.

Something funny that happened to me was the time Dad just got a new hat and hung it on the gear shift lever of "my" truck. After toying with it for awhile, I pulled the shift into neutral and took my first solo drive. All went well at first. Dad's boss had NOT had the foresight to park his swather out of the way and I hit it because I couldn't reach the brakes!

I am so spoiled that I even get to sleep on a vinyl sofa that Dad got especially for me!

My master loves me so much that he took away my learners permit after he suspected I had been seen chasing cats around Garfield with "my" truck. (tough love)

I have been a patient at Animal Clinic for 2+ years where Dr. Brown does my checkups.
