2006 December Pet of the Month Winner "Winston the Pooh" Baron

I am a Miniature Poodle.

I was named because my mom loved Winnie the Pooh and she thought I should be named after both Winston Churchill and Winnie the Pooh. She really loves English history.

My favorite treat is milk. When Mom or my brother Sean have a glass of milk I really go crazy. It has to be real cold and I will only drink it out of a “people” glass. The other dogs that live with me, Pogo and Georgie, don’t care for milk so I can have it on my own.

The funniest thing I ever did really involved the Animal Clinic saving me. I get so excited when I go outside I love to run just as fast as I can. When I was just a newborn pub I ran so hard that I broke my own leg turning a fast circle. Dr. Bales put a big cast on my leg but I was still able to run fast. Too bad Mom and Dad had no movie camera. They really laughed watching me run and jump with that silly cast.

My Master loves me so much that she will take me on a ride to pick up Sean at school every day. Most times I am the only dog to go.

I am so spoiled I even get to sleep on the pillows above my Mom’s head.

I have been a patient of the Animal Clinic and Hospital all my life. I think I am seven years old and Dr. Bales has done almost all of my checkups.
