2010 December Pets of the Month "Hemi & Bailey"

I am a Vandseer "colored" newfoundland and a black newfoundland.
We are "Goofy Newfies".

Our masters Kevin and Barb named us our names because Kevin always wanted a "Hemi" and "yeah, he's got that Hemi". He is also very powerful. Momma calls Bailey - "Boo" and dad calls him "Pickle" so I'm not sure why they named me Bailey.

Hemi's favorite toy is a Tickle-Me-Elmo and I can make him tickle.

Bailey's favorite treat is pig ears and bacon anything.

Hemi's age in dog years is 21 (I just had my birthday) and Bailey's age in dogs year is 10 (I'll be "14" next March).

Lots of funny things happen to us but our mom and dad don't think they are funny like when Bailey collects pillows and blankets and underclothes and brings them in the yard or when Hemi steals the best spot on the couch or in the car-- he's always in the most comfortable place.

Our masters love us so much that we go boating and stay on the water every weekend in the summer - we have our own life jackets and "doggie dock" to lounge on.

We are so spoiled we get to sleep wherever we want.

We have been patients at Animal Clinic & Hospital our whole lives where Dr. Dan Brown does my checkups and all of the staff and doctors take great care of us.
