2010 January Pet of the Month "Bea"

I am a bratwurst- also known as a chihuahua.

My masters (I've been rescued and adopted and had several masters) named me that because Judy McDonough named me Bea because she didn't like the name the Vet told her I had - "Fiona" and she didn't like any of the name ideas her sister, Jeanne and my current owner - Deena, were coming up with.

My favorite treat is Alpo Variety Snaps, Mini Jumbones, the cats food, and anything you're eating.

My age in dog years is about 6.

Something funny that happened to me was the time I was telling Thomas (my new brother kitten) that I'm the Alpha and he needed to move off the bed because I needed the warm spot he made for me. I wouldn't move so I sat on him.

My master loves me so much that she heats my canned food in the microwave, warms my blanket in the dryer before we go on a road trip and picks me up and stuffs me in her coat when my feet get too cold out walking.

I am so spoiled that I even get to sleep on her bed when it's too cold and my blanket won't stay warm in the winter.

I have been a patient at the Animal Clinic & Hospital for about 4 years where I love Dr. Kitchel, Bales, and Brown does my checkups. I have seen everybody but these are the doctors I've seen the most. :)
