2010 June Pet of the Month "Homer"

I am a Dalmation.

I was named by a five year old but because I was so rambunctious
as a puppy, I was given to Dale and Jan when I was 10 months old.
They allowed me to keep my name.

My favorite treat is homemade Snickerpoodles.

My age in dog years is 16 1/2 - I will turn 17 at Christmas.

Something funny that happened to me was the time when my kennel buddy and I made a break for it. We were two years old at the time.
We ran down to the park to play (we live in the country) and I got nabbed by the Sheriff. Lucky for my buddy -- he ran home.
My master had to bail me out. Oh boy -- was I in the dog house!!

My masters love me so much that they give me vitamins, take me for walks, make homemade treats, make sure I get regular checkups,
brush my teeth, and all those good things. I can't see anymore and sometimes forget why I went outside, you know of those
"what am I doing here moments" so they guide me and are very patient.

I am so spoiled that I even get to sleep on an orthopedic pad on the floor by my master's bedside.

I have been a patient at Animal Clinic & Hospital for 16 years where Dr. Kitchel does the majority of my checkups.
