Brenda was born in Minnesota but moved to Sandpoint when she was 13. Over time, she has lived in a total of six states. Brenda atttended Pensacola Christian College for 1 year where she majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Psychology. She has also taken correspondence courses for veterinary assistant from the North American School of Animal Sciences. She has worked as a volunteer firefighter and an EMT. Brenda lives in Moscow with her son Tyler, her daughter Makayla, and two dogs, both husky/malamute crosses. Her daughter Brittany lives in Moscow with her family as well. Brenda enjoys reading, snow boarding, and other outdoor activities in her spare time. She loves horses and has been studying Natural Horsemanship for 10 years. A strong faith in God has sustained her over the years and she is excited to begin life here in Moscow.
